This is a delightfully refreshing pamper gift perfect for Christmas or any season really. It will leave your skin feeling soft and revive you after a long day. It has only 4 ingredients and takes mere moments to make. Super easy for a DIY project with the kids for their teachers and relatives. I like to make these up, put in nice little jars with a gift label and add to a pamper basket or even as a single small gift. If you would like some cute labels to go with this recipe, you can fill out a request form at bottom of this website home page or comment below. I will need your email address. While you are at it - be sure to subscribe to my blog too and share it with others who would love my recipes and tips.
Here's the recipe:
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup coconut oil or other carrier oil — may use more depending on desired consistency
Red food coloring
8-10 drops doTERRA Peppermint Essential Oil
Mason jars and lids or similar
Pour sugar into bowl. Add coconut oil and mix for desired consistency. Add Peppermint Oil and mix. Divide your mix into two bowls. Add a couple drops red food coloring until it is pink or red color desired. Layer your white and colored mix in jars, pressing down each layer with wooden spoon to compact. Use a scoop of the scrub to exfoliate and soften rough skin on feet, elbow, knees when showering. Rinse off before towel drying.
Caution: If using other oils such as a citrus oil, avoid exposure to sun for at least 12 hours.
