Fennel, Ginger, and Lemon oil go well together. Plus, they all have amazing benefits for healthy digestion. Try my pot o' tummy tea for two. I recommend sipping a cup after a meal.
1 drop doTERRA Fennel & Ginger oil
2 drops doTERRA Lemon oil (try Lemongrass as an alternative)
2 tsp organic green tea leaves
1 tsp honey (optional)
Put tea leaves in a tea pot ( I use a glass tea infuser pot). Add 1 drop Fennel, Ginger and 2 drops lemon oil to the leaves. Toss leaves so they absorb the oils and let sit for a moment. Meanwhile, boil your water. Pour over the tea leaves. Let steep for 3-5 minutes. (do not over steep -remove leaves). Pour tea into glass tea cups. Add a swirl of honey if desired. Sip and enjoy.
*note - I refrain from using teabags whenever possible due to chemicals that may be used in manufacturing teabags.
